How Did Bilal Test the Durability of the iPhone?

First, we’ll talk about the test he did while using the case and glass protector. Basically, he dropped it from 3 different levels. The first drip test was done from the lap level. The second test was from the chest height, and lastly, the third test was from the head height. 

He used these different levels to drop the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max because of real-world scenarios. The lap one is because a person might drop the phone from their pocket or lap while standing up. Next, he chose the chest height because that’s the normal height at which a standing person will be using the mobile phone. Lastly, the head height is because a person might drop the phone while on a call. 

He dropped it from these 3 different heights (while using a case and a glass protector) 1-by-1, and the 15 Pro Max was completely fine. There were no scratches or dent marks in the frame. 

After doing that, he removed the case and the glass protector and then did the same test. Remarkably, there was no sign of damage on the phone whatsoever. He dropped the phone both sideways and flat on its screen, but the results remained the same. However, the thing that really took the damage was the floor itself. Yes! You read that right. During the video, he showed the surface on which the phone was being dropped, and the floor had some marks on it.

Since the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max was proving to be very durable, he took it one step further by dropping it from much higher than his head. In the end, there was nothing more than a small scratch at the bottom of the phone from where a little bit of the color came off.

Bend Test:

Since the 15 Pro Max didn’t take any damage, he decided to do the main test, which was bending the back of the mobile phone. Now, this very test was the reason why this entire controversy started in the first place. 

So, he just headed straight into bending the back of the phone. Surprisingly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s back glass didn’t shatter. In the end, he concluded that the main issue that arose might be a one-and-done kind of situation, or there might be some manufacturing defect.
