The phones that I’ll be comparing will be the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G and the Infinix Note 12 G96, both of which were released in 2022 and are the best phones each company has to offer. 

With that said, here are a few things that can better help you decide if Samsung phones are better or not.

Which of the Smartphones Has a Better Chipset

This point straight up goes to Samsung without a doubt. “Why?” you ask because the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G comes with two chipset variants, one being Chipset Exynos 2200 and the other being Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. 

Both of these are 4 nm chipset which has some of the best performance that I’ve seen. If you’ve been following my blogs for a while now, then you know that I test all of my smartphones by playing Call of Duty. The chipset in my S22 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the gaming performance on this phone is truly the best.

There was no visible lag, the frame rate was also stable, and because of the Adreno 730, the graphics of the game were also very amazing. On the other hand, the gaming on the Infinix Note 12 G96 was pretty good, but since it came with a 12 nm Mediatek MT6781 Helio G96 chipset, there was no competition with the Samsung mobile phone.

Which Has a Better Battery Capacity

Now, this is quite an interesting situation because both of the phones share the same battery capacity of 5000 mAh. However, from what I’ve seen, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G lasts longer than the Infinix Note 12, but why is that?

Even though both of them have the same battery capacity, why does one last longer than the other? If anything, Infinix is the one that should last longer because it doesn’t need to house styles in it. This all comes down to better battery optimization with the device.

Samsung simply uses better battery optimization with all of the apps integrated into the phone. Plus, it also has some of the best battery-saving features that can better preserve your phone’s battery.

Which One Has a Better Resale Value

The last section, where the S22 Ultra 5G has one over the Note 12 G96, is the resale value of the phone. First of all, no matter how you look at it, Samsung mobiles have a much higher price than Infinix. This also goes for a used mobile made by Samsung. This also applies to the resale value of the phone.

Naturally, if you own a flagship phone of any model, you’re going to get a better deal. I currently own a used iPhone 12 Pro for my personal use. When I got the phone, the price was quite good, but now if I plan on reselling it, I’ll still get a great deal. This also goes for all of the used Samsung phones that you plan on reselling.

Which One Should You Go For

By now, you might’ve guessed who is the undisputed winner, but being the winner doesn’t mean that people are still going to choose it. I’ve seen many people who would rather buy an Infinix smartphone rather than a Samsung because Infinix is simply cheaper. 

Since smartphone prices are increasing in Pakistan, an average person can’t actually afford an expensive smartphone like the S22 Ultra, but Samsung has a surprise in store for use. They’ve also stepped into the market of budget-friendly smartphones.

That’s why I recommend that if you live in Pakistan and want to get the best phone, then definitely go for Samsung mobile phones. Otherwise, you do have the option for an Infinix phone.
